He should've known early on that the comfort and ease he felt around this kid traced back to Finn in some way; the moodiness, the determination, and now, of course, the internal drive to help people no matter what. It didn't make Jake upset, per se. If anything, it made him proud. Sticking up for people who couldn't stick up for themselves? That was always the right thing to do, and something that seemed to come naturally to people like his brother. It was something Jake could always respect (and worry over), but never fully understand.
